Last August 1 and 2, 2023, UPD Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Director Jowima Ang-Reyes, Ph.D., RSW participated as a speaker in the International Conference of the ASEAN-Social Work Education and Social Development 2023. The conference — titled Make A Difference – Social Work Without Barriers: In Response to Sustainable Development and Public Emergency — was held in Hanoi, Vietnam. The event was organized by China and Global Development Network, Department of Applied Social Sciences, The Hongkong Polytechnic University, Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
