Warmest Congratulations to our UPD Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Team!On June 11th and 13th, members of the UPD Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Team received awards and recognition from the University of the Philippines during the Linggo ng Unibersidad for their respective achievements: UPD Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Director Jowima Ang-Reyes, PhD, RSW and former Director Jocelyn T. Caragay, RSW were honored during the Pagkilala ng mga Faculty, Kawani, Mag-aaral na Nagtamo ng Pambansa o Internasyonal na Rekognisyon, with Dir. Reyes honored as an Outstanding Social Worker of the Philippines and former Dir. Caragay honored with an Award of Distinction by the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. (PASWI) last September 2023.Similarly, Junior Project Associate Maria Theresa D. Lucas, RSW was honored during the Pagkilala sa mga Natatanging Mag-aaral na Nagkamit ng Pinakamataas na Marka sa Licensure Exam for her exemplary Performance in the September 2023 PRC Social Work Licensure Examination as a top 4 board passer.We are incredibly proud to have them on our team and to witness their outstanding performance and dedication in their fields. #UPDPahinungodHighlightsIn the recent Quality Assurance Recognition Ceremony, conducted on 3rd May 2024, UPD Ugnayan ng Pahinungod was presented a Certificate of Recognition for "being a model to education institutions due to the exceptional programs offered to identified clientele”. We are delighted to receive this certificate and would like to dedicate this recognition to all former JPAs, SOAs and to our new batch of staff, especially to all our volunteers whose hard work and dedication made this possible. To our dedicated PSVs Doc Mitch, Doc Mangi, Doc Gino, and Dean Ami, who continuously served as PSP trainers , we are ever so grateful. The GP program is a program of the UP Ugnayan ng Pahinungód, the volunteer service arm of the University of the Philippines.
